On the trail of my wandering I went to the cisterian abbey in the Ląd. Besides the church of St. Nicholas, which deserves a separate gallery, I was very impressed by a monastery, and in it by Oratory of St.Jacob. It is a small room, decorated with extremely beautiful polychrome, which is one of the most valuable monuments of Gothic painting in Poland. This polychrome was founded around 1370.
